“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11) Dream the Impossible is about Tristan Jackson quest to achieve her dreams of attending college. I was not born with a golden spoon in my mouth; it was made of white plastic. I was born in the ‘hood of Houston, Texas called the Fourth Ward. They would say, I was born into the drug life or the “hustling life. I knew God had a better plan for my life and I was determined to break the generational curses. My lifelong lesson has been to find my own identity in this sometimes crazy and very harsh world. It has been said that you are product of your environment. I am the struggle, and it is definitely real. There is also an old saying that the road to success is often paved by failure, as it is one of the most important steps. The obstacles I have faced in life have all been orchestrated by God. 

“HOW TO STAY CALM IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS”

God has great plans for your life in spite of what you’re facing. How to Stay Calm in the Midst of Chaos offers encouragement for daily life and provide inspiration and strength. God will never leave you nor abandon you. The Bible is filled with the promises of God. From Genesis to Revelation we read of normal people that received the promises of God. These promises are sealed by the highest authority, God’s word. Fervent prayers produce phenomenal results. 

“WAKE PRAY HUSTLE REPEAT” 

Chances are you’ve seen this phrase on social media or you perhaps have seen people wearing T-Shirts with the words Wake-Pray-Hustle-Repeat written on them. Wake-Pray-Hustle-Repeat is more than a catch phrase; it’s a radically different approach to life and living out your dreams. It’s only when we stop fearing failure that we can fully seize every opportunity in our lives. I am not an expert on fear, nor do I pretend to be an expert at all. However, my fears at times have gotten the best of me and caused me to lose out on opportunities. I was born into the hustling life. Determined to break the curses in my family, I wanted my hustle to be positive and to inspire people to achieve their dreams. Wake-Pray-Hustle-Repeat—I would watch my mom repeat this every day after giving up the hustling life; working low-wage jobs, struggling to keep the lights on and food on the table.

Tristan Jackson is a self-published inspirational author, who began writing in 2012. A first generational College Graduate and Business Owner.
