“Is Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau alive or dead? Yes.”
I just wanted to comment on these headlines that keep popping up. In one of my later blogs, I stated that for Boko Haram, it did not make any difference whether their leader is dead or not. They have no respect for life, not even their own, so, that one leader is dead or not hasn’t stopped their surge. That Boko Haram is using their dead leader’s name as a fear factor, shows how cowardly they really are. These masked destroyers are not man enough to show their faces.
“Nigerian schoolgirl freed by extremists comes home”
This Nigerian girl hasn’t spoken yet. We will like to hear her story before deciding who she rally is. I would love to know that she is one of the missing Chibok girls. If she is, she should be able to tell us more about the other girls, and the state of their captivity. Until then, we should just patiently wait for her to tell her story.
“Nigerian Schoolgirl Released, but Boko Haram Terror Attacks Continue”
This last headline validates the observations I made on the top headline. Boko Haram continues to rampage north east of Nigeria in spite of everything. Even as we write, news is still filtering our about their latest assaults. Even with hundreds of them surrendering to law enforcement, the rest are still out there performing their atrocities.
The bottom-line is that until these hoodlums or their remnants are apprehended or annihilated, we should not sleep easy.
(We will continue.)
