Day 46!!!!!!

I pray every day that I or anyone I know will never find ourselves in the predicament of those abducted girls. It must be hell. This is why I pray for them every day, and I have resolved to hold them up in prayer every day until they return. A person in bondage, forcefully captured like an animal, against their will, is a person who has lost, not just their freedom, but also their will to pray.

When a thief steals from a person, we call it an invasion of privacy, what should we call it, when a thief steals a person? I will call it the dehumanization of a human. This is a crime against humanity, and Boko Haram and their sponsors will be dealt with the same way they have been dealings out to others. The law of Karma is real. It does not go one way. It goes and it must return. My prayer is that when it returns, it should be a hundred fold. No human has the right to dehumanize another human. The gods forbid it, and our God abhors it.

This drama must not be allowed to fizzle out, or go down into oblivion as if it never happened. We must never forget that it happened, and we must make sure that it never happens again. Boko Haram must be stopped!

Day 45!!!!!

Those girls will be so hot on the palms of those villains as hot potatoes. I am sure that right now they are at a loss on what to do with them. Just like hot potatoes, they can’t eat them and they can’t drop them. It must be daunting moving and hiding the girls, not to talk of feeding them, and still, they are keeping them. Heartless animals! This shows how wealthy their sponsors are, and yet how myopic. They really believe that their assaults so far will force Nigeria into Islamic rule?! They can wipe out all vestiges of Western Education in the North, but that will only be in the North, and for how long?

If only name calling could kill … but they know who they are. They don’t need name calling to tell them who they are. The beasts! Delusional rogues!! How do they plan to repair all the damages they are causing in the North? Do they even have an agenda? The core of the fighters does not even know what they are fighting for, or why they are fighting.

For crying out loud, Nigeria is not at war, and yet she is attacked on a daily basis by war mongers. The Moslems are stoking the Christians asking for war. No amount of double talking will exonerate the Moslems from these attacks. So let them stop trying.

They want war. I just hope that when it begins, because there will be war if Boko Haram does not stop the assaults on Christians and Christian holdings, they will never forget that they have roused a sleeping lion. THEY WILL NOT WIN! This will not be like the Biafran war. This will be a war that will finally sanitize the country as a whole, and redress the harm done to it by the colonial masters, and after them, the army and the politicians.

Day 44!!!!

I will like to believe that the silence surrounding the fate of our 276 missing girls, which we are experiencing now, means that something good is going to happen, soon. This is an unfinished business that will not go away until it is resolved, silence or no silence. Let us hope that some underground work is going on to know the precise location of the girls, and the safe way to rescue them, without causing them more damage.

I don’t trust the two pieces of information that have surfaced recently. The first is that the girls have been located, and the second, that four had escaped. These could be information to make us feel good, and perhaps make us relax our pressure on the government to do something quick.

We shall not relent, not until those girls return, all of them. So let the Military or the governments not tell us anything other than that the girls are back. Any more disclosures could cause the girls to be moved. This is why I do not trust any news that their location is known. Once that information leaks, the girls will be moved. If they know where the girls are, they should move in, I mean swoop in, and rescue them.

Today is day 44!!!!. No more procrastinating! Bring those girls back now!

Day 43!!!

The Nigerian Military tells us that they know where the girls are, but are not telling. They fear that the girls will all be killed if they reveal their whereabouts.

The Nigerian President refuses to make a deal with the terrorists that will exchange the girls for the terrorists in custody.

This is one dilemma delaying the return of the girls. It is a single dilemma because the two happen to be linked. At other times, when the matter is not about life or death, I will side with the President for not bending to the demands of the terrorists. Not this time. I would plead with him to do whatever it takes to get those girls back safely. If that means dealing with the murderers, he should go ahead and do so, and leave the fight for another day. He should not give these miscreants the excuse to shed more blood. He must remember that we are not dealing with humans, but with animals, with no heart, and no conscience. Any wrong move from him that will bring harm to those girls will be his downfall.

Backing down this time does not show weakness on his part, it simply shows that he knows what his priorities are. And this time, they should be for the safety of our girls.
Today is day 43!!! The world is waiting and watching.

Day 42!!

Let us tackle this issue about the poverty in the Northern part of Nigeria. Looking at the North and the South of Nigeria, it would seem that the North is the dis-advantaged one. A closer look, and a better knowledge of the facts, will show the obvious.

The Northern and Southern governors receive the same yearly allocations for development in their various States. In the South, you can see that there are some developments, not as much as would be expected, but each governor makes the effort to put something down during their tenure, no matter how small. Some do much more. I have mentioned the case of the governor of Lagos who has gone above and beyond in cleaning up and beautifying Lagos.
In the South too, we have the different Christian denominations competing amongst themselves in building schools and even universities, this in addition to the ones provided by the federal government. Philanthropists also lend their pulses in building schools and universities.

Not so in the North. The allocations to the Northern governors do not go for State development, they are shared out for the upkeep of the Lords, and whatever trickles down is used largely to pay perhaps, the salaries of the civil servants, the police, but largely for the security of the Lords. Almost all developments in the North are the ones done by the Federal government. If the Northern Lords knew how to capture all of the Federal money intended for their State, because I know they capture some of it, they will use that also for their upkeep and security.

Instead of building schools in the North, they destroy schools. The few standing schools and universities are those built by the Federal government. Mission schools are destroyed, and Philanthropists are careful not to waste their money building schools that will be destroyed.

The poverty of the North is a self-inflicted poverty, and the South should not be made to look as they caused it. The Lords want their people to remain poor so that they can continue to control and exploit them. Imagine,… the richest men in Nigeria are Northerners, so what stops them from doing more for their people? They suppress education in the North because the Lords know that education will free their vast poor and open their eyes to reject their life’s conditions.

Day 41!

One Aljazeera news would want the world to believe that both the Muslims and the Christians in Nigeria have come together to denounced the activities of the Boko Haram. According to them, the moderate Muslim groups have called the activities of Boko Haram anti-Muslim, and the Christians are beginning to differentiate the moderate Muslims from the terrorists. The terrorist they called them … why not the Muslim terrorists? Because no matter how you view this, no matter from what angle you look at it, Boko Haram terrorists are Muslims, period! They are fighting the cause of Muslims. They are fighting to make Nigeria a Muslim country.

Depending on who is tell this story, depending on what side of the fence one is sitting, the truth is that the Christians are the target of the Boko Haram terrorists, therefore the Christians can never side with the Muslims, no matter how moderate they claim to be, to condemn Boko Haram. While the Christians are on their own in condemning Boko Haram, the Muslims should find a way of convincing the world that Boko Haram is not their birth child. If some Muslims are also dying by the hands of Boko Haram, it is because they find themselves on the wrong side of the targeted areas.

So far, Boko Haram has struck with an uncanny precision which shows how well they are informed and how selective they have chosen their targets. If some who they consider Muslims die in the attacks, they could be Northern Christians. There are Christians amongst them too, even if they try hard to ignore it, or want the world to believe that the Christians are only of Southern origin.

Most of the terrorist actions perpetrated by the Muslims against the Christians in the past, only ended up in making more Muslims to become Christians, and it will happen like that again this time. It is not by force that one becomes a believer, it is by how much one has to suffere to defend ones faith. By the end of the incursions of Boko Haram in the North, the North will become even more Christian. Mind my word!

Day 40

I was browsing the world news today to see how the world is holding up the Chibok Abducted School Girls, when I came across the article of Osita Ebiem titled: CHIBOK ABDUCTION: IGBO GOVERNORS MUST LEARN HOW TO CHOOSE THEIR FIGHT.

The Nigerians, and in fact, the whole world have very short memory when it comes to war. Otherwise, why should war be repeatedly used to solve world problems? History has not taught us anything; that war has never solved problems, rather war has always created more problems.

Nigeria fought a three year war that lasted from 1968-1971, a war that was triggered by happenings similar to those of the Boko Haram of today. They pushed the country to the brim that time; correction – they pushed a section of the country to the brim, and that section fought back. It almost destroyed the entity we know today as Nigeria. I am sure everyone if familiar with the Biafran war. The wounds left by that experience are still wide open. The Igbos are still waiting for reparation!

I strongly agree with Osita Ebiem, that whatever is happening to Nigeria today, especially with regard to the 276 abducted girls, is not isolated. It is a continuation, a repetition, of what we have been through before. If care is not taken, and I have warned about this before, the Boko Haram’s incursions will drag the country again into war, the bitterest of war this time, with factions fighting for their different agendas; some simply for greed, some for survival, and some for revenge.

The time has passed when the whole South differed to the North, and when the North claimed and took whatever they fancied. The time has come for the truth to be spoken. Every Nigerian has a right to live and feel free in their own country; anywhere in their own country. Boko Haram wants the whole nation to live in fear of them, but they are the ones afraid, or they will not be hiding in holes, and striking their victims at night, in their sleep. They will be defeated!

The Waiting Is Killing!!!

Thirty nine days gone! The waiting is killing me. If I feel this way, what will the parents of these girls be feeling? What will the girls be feeling? We know that eventually, these miscreants will be caught, destroyed, and completely wiped out. They know too that their fate will match if not surpass their actions, but will their annihilation (that is what I wish them), make up for all that they have done?

The fact that they believe that they can get away with all this, because they have so far been getting away with it, shows simply that we are dealing with animals, with no conscience, no feelings, no sense of responsibility. If they were ever humans, then too much bloodshed has turned them into non-humans. I will not be surprised if they go as far as drinking the blood of their victims. Some of these cult members do. We know that some of them drink blood cocktails before and after their killing and maiming expeditions. If they feed blood to a blood thirsty god, they too must be blood drinkers.

Just as we are still in mourning for the plight of our 276 girls, they are out every day still spilling blood. They are blood intoxicated, and I suspect that they do not know anymore what they are doing. Their sponsors have lost control of them, and they have lost control of themselves. What a deadly situation!
They will be caught, and our girls will return. I have committed the girls into God’s Hands. Although we want them back “Thirty nine days ago,” which means, that their abduction should never have happened, God is in control of their situation now, and He will deliver them. Let us continue to pray for them. Pray without ceasing!

The Prayer!

As a Christian, I have been taught that when all hope seems to be lost, I should turn to no other than God. I have also experienced this wonder working God in action. Twice, I found myself in the deepest of deep, in that place where you come face to face with the evil one. He sat there laughing and mocking me, daring me to even think that I could get out of his hold.

In this deepest of deep, you lose control over body, mind and soul. The evil one takes over control and tries to isolate you from anything that will shine the light toward you, because light is where God is, so he tries to block that light. You are so helpless that you cannot even call for help, not on God’s help, unless you are a deeply rooted Christian, or you have deeply rooted Christians praying for you.
I felt thousand hands from the dark pulling me deeper into the dark, then the fear of being lost forever gave me the strength of crying out the name of God for help, and in lightning speed, a hand moved in and pulled me out; the hand of God.

Our girls are today in their deepest of deep. My prayer, and I believe the prayer of many around the world, for them is that at the last point of each of them losing it all, the hand of God will manifest and pull each of them out from their deepest of deep, no matter their very different circumstances, or the different ways they are being molested.

When this is all over, and it shall all come to pass, we shall have testimonies! God answers prayers.

Our Girls are in Limbo!

Yes, those abducted girls are in Limbo, between hell and shall we say, heaven. To mention heaven here may sound as if those girls could have any reason for relief. But yes, they are hanging in there, waiting, and nothing seem to happen.

How else can we describe where they are? Their abductors are still nonchalantly drawing more attention to themselves by testing everyone’s patience. I was hoping that by now, this whole thing would have ended. Why the delay? Who is blocking the process? How difficult is it for all the help from around the world to seem to be failing these girls? Tomorrow is too late. We want those girls back now.

Apart from my Blogging, I have released two books. Please grab a copy, share, and review. I will really like to know what people think about my books.
